BCM stands for Baptist Collegiate Ministry. It is a christian student organization with its own building on the campus of Nicholls State University.
The BCM provides opportunities for students to grow in their faith, cultivate new friends, develop leadership skills, and to get involved in local and international missions opportunities. We host weekly free lunches as well as an interactive Bibles study. The BCM also strives to provide the opportunity for individual discipleship. I guarantee you that we have the right place for everyone.

The BCM is sponsored by our local Southern Baptist Association and the Louisiana Baptist Convention. However, any and every Nicholls State student is invited to visit. We have students from all sorts of church backgrounds as well as some who had never previously been to a church. We love the diversity represented in the body of Christ and strive to be welcoming to everyone!
No. As we just said, we are a function of the local Baptist Association of churches. One of the BCM’s goals is to assist students in finding a church home to connect with and become a contributing member of during their college years.
Come visit us! Everything we do is open to anyone. Visit our big weekly events and ask our leaders about joining a small group. We would love to have you.
The Nicholls BCM building is open Mon. – Friday from 9AM to 9PM. We have couches , a ping pong table, a study room, Library, and free wifi. It is a good place to meet new people and to hang out between classes.
